Fixing that problem comes later, according to Sega. They pretty much admitted that the quality of recent Sonic the Hedgehog games has been well, not that good. In a  recent interview with Industry Gamers, Sega's VP of Marketing, Sean Ratcliffe had a few things to say on the subject.

I do realize that summer is the time of movie blockbusters being released. I had no idea it was where every producer in Hollywood and his brother would announce a new film based off of a video game. In the last week alone, there has been news about Castlevania, Warcraft, and even Asteroids.

At least in their video games, anyway. Recently there has been a rise in gang activity in China. As a response the government has issued a ban on all games that glorify organized crime and also the websites that advertise them.

So it seems like there has been alot of news about video game movies this week. Well, here's another story.  In a recent IGN interview with Lorenzo di Bonaventura the producer of the upcoming Asteroids movie, shared a little bit of information about how the hell you make a movie about Asteroids.

So not to be outdone by Warcraft, news has surfaced concerning the Castlevania movie. Apparently its not dead yet. A few months back it sounded like that the movie was gonna be shelved for good. Today, however it was revealed that not only is it back in production, but also that a director has been chosen.
