For the most part, it was more of Lionhead's press conference than Microsoft. Peter Molyneux revealed a fair ammount of Fable news. One thing that wasn't suprising, and one that was...just kind of puzzling.

First off, the puzzling news. It seems that Fable 2 will be available on September 29th on Xbox Live. The strange thing about that is, the game is being devided up into five parts and sold as "episodes" The first one episode is free, but the others are gonna cost you. No word given yet on how many funbucks it will be.

The not suprising announcement was Fable 3. Which like most games from Lionhead, sound really awesome when talked about by Peter "high expections, low delivery" Molyneux, but probably won't be as good. The guy really tries, but usually falls short. Well anyway the premise is pretty cool. You are the child of the hero from Fable 2, and lead a rebellion against the corrupt king of Albion, and then take the throne yourself. The rest of the game deals with you ruling the kingdom. That could be interesting.
