So I just saw today on the World of Warcraft website that in the 3.2.2 update patch, Onyxia will be making somewhat of a comeback. It's part of WoW's 5th anniversary celebration. Instead of something made of wood,(the traditional fifth anniversary gift) Blizzard is instead giving us something that will melt our faces.

Currently as it stands, Onyxia...is not that big of a threat. Two level 80's could probably wipe the floor with her. So that's why Blizzard wants to make us fear her again. So she's getting an update, here's what they are changing.

The instance is now a 10/25 man raid, the gear she drops has the same name as what she always dropped, but has new enhanced stats. One of the rarer drops is an Onyxia broodling, which is an epic flying mount that looks like Onyxia. Also when the anniversary events begin in November everyone who logs on will recieve an Onyxia whelping pet.
