So not to be outdone by Warcraft, news has surfaced concerning the Castlevania movie. Apparently its not dead yet. A few months back it sounded like that the movie was gonna be shelved for good. Today, however it was revealed that not only is it back in production, but also that a director has been chosen.

That director would be James Wan who is also gonna be co-writing the film with Paul W.S Anderson who is also producing. Wan is the creator of the Saw series of movies, and Anderson directed such other video game films the Resident Evil series, and the first Mortal Kombat. So guess it's possible this could be a decent film.
