Disney has been busy lately it seems. They really must like writing checks. Last week they wrote one for $4 billion to Marvel comics, and this week they bought out Wideload games. The developer of such games as Stubbs the Zombie..and..well..Stubbs the Zombie.
While not nearly as big a deal as the Marvel Comics buyout. As Wideload really hasn't done all that much, still it makes you wonder...what are they gonna buy next?

Included in that purchase was Alexander Seropian,  the founder of Bungie. His job now is overseeing creative development for Disney Interactive. He seemed quite pleased with his new job and had this to say:  "Joining Disney is an ideal next step, both for our studio and me. At Wideload, we've conscientiously built a forward-looking approach to game development that borrows many techniques from the film industry. Now, Wideload will be a part of one of the largest, most respected entertainment companies in the world. I'm looking forward to Wideload's continued success as a part of Disney and I'm eager to bring all my experience to the creative community at Disney Interactive Studios."
