While this isn't technically a video game story, it is something that will effect future video games. Today the Walt Disney company, announced that they are purchasing Marvel Comics for $4 billion. If you listen closely, you can hear the woeful crys of many a comic book fan on the winds. While the deal isn't completely done yet, both parties have agreed to each other's terms, they're just waiting for the legal mumbo-jumbo to work out.
The companies that currently have video game licensing deals with Marvel, like THQ, Activision, and Sega will be allowed to keep making games as long as their license is valid. They will pretty much decide what to do with each one as their licenses expire. So does this mean Ghost Rider and the Punisher will be in Kingdom Hearts 3? I sure hope so.
