So, like nearly twelve million other people in the world, I play World of Warcraft. I came somewhat late to the game, only starting up in October of last year. I really wasn't into Warcraft before then; it was pretty much Joe and Matt beating me over the head with it until I finally gave in and started playing. I'm glad I did. However, there are certain moments that I sort of wish I had the power to expel people from the game, violently if possible. I'm sure every WoW player has had those moments, but it seems to happen to me more frequently than other people I know. For most of my year on WoW I played on the Kilrogg server. I got a Tauren Shaman up to level 80, and had a grand time doing that. Really with few exceptions I never had much trouble. Then about a month ago Joe suggested we change servers to play with some of his friends from Jacksonville. I didn't wanna pay the money to server transfer my Shammy, so I decided to start again fresh. My shammy was pretty much a healer on Kilrogg, so decided to just bite the bullet and make a priest on Thunderhorn. I dunno if it’s the server or what, but I've encountered a fair share of people who seem to have no idea what they are doing. Maybe they're new players, and actually for some of these mistakes, it’s the only excuse I would take. I hope I wasn't this bad as a newbie. Apart from that, I also have a blood elf mage and orc warlock that I play. I do enjoy the casting classes in this game more so than the front line fighters. As of this writing, my warlock hasn't even left the starting zone, so he really hasn't had any trouble as of yet. My mage is level 17 and has already had his share of idiocy, though not nearly as much as Morteas, my priest. So about five minutes after making my mage, I hit level 3. I'm killing some random monsters when this level 80 Tauren Death Knight comes running up to me. Starts jumping around like an idiot. Says to me, “I'm gonna sit down here!”, to which I respond, “You do that, I'm gonna go over there”. Then he barrages me with duel requests. You see folks, I hate duels. So very much, and I hate the people who send you multiples after you decline the first even more. I have an add-on that just automatically declines them. So he gets all upset with me, and says “WHY CAN”T I DUEL YOU?!” So I tell him about the mod, and he's says “WHY WOULD YOU HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!”. I tell him, it’s because I hate dueling, it proves nothing to me and is a complete waste of time. Then I ask him what it would prove to him anyway? “Are you gonna brag to all of your buddies about how you, a level 80, took out a brand new mage?” He didn't have an answer for that one. I also added that killing a newbie mage is nothing to brag about, a stiff breeze could do the job. He just kinda left at that point, and I went back to questing. That's really just a taste of the kinds of bullshit my characters deal with on a near daily basis. I'm beginning to think that I'm a magnet for this stuff. I'm not even gonna get into the things my priest deals with yet. That will have to wait for next time. My first article I just kind of wanted to deal with introducing myself and my characters. So if you see Morteas, Kruunk or Tethias on Thunderhorn, go ahead and say hello. Just don't ask me to duel, please and even if you do, it will be rejected.

mean absolutely nothing. I neither accept nor deny the request and just go on
doing what I am doing like it never happened. You'll be suprised how much of
their own personal time people are willing to waste to get a reaction from you
before they give up. Kinda flattering, but mostly pathetic. : silly:
