In other news, I've been working on one character for awhile now. Due to recent events, which I will get into in a moment, I've decided to revive Kruunk, who is a protection spec warrior. Started him just recently. He's only level 7. So I usually have trouble with groups in Wailing Caverns, and yes I did this time as well. It took three tries to make it through that damn cave, due to ignorance. Ok, to be fair, one of the guys I ran it with was new to the game, and didn't know how to properly tank. Thats fine, I've got no problems with him, he'll learn. Also I've come to the conclusion that three is the magic number for Wailing Caverns. I just need to accept that it'll take at least three tries every time. The kind of people I'm talking about are the ones who have been playing for awhile. I'd say by level 30 or so you should have a fairly good idea of what your class is capable of. Especially if this isn't your first character. The dungeon in question this time is Scarlet Monastery, one of my favorites. I attempted to run it yesterday, with two different groups, and lets just say things went from bad to worse quickly. The first group didn't have a tank. I think that one pretty much speaks for itself. While there were two people who could sort of act like tanks, a paladin and a druid...it really didn't work out well. Still, it was a better experience than the second group, which was made of a healer paladin, my mage, a tank druid, holy priest and a shadow priest. The latter of which were quite stupid. They kept fearing monsters, even though they were told not to three separate times. It got so bad, that I got a PM from the healer saying that she couldn't group with these retards and she rage quit. During one pull the shadow priest asked the tank to back up a bit cause he wanted to try something, for whatever reason the tank did, right into four more guys, needless to say, the tank dropped quickly, along with the rest of the party. So what was it the shadow priest wanted to try? Mind Flay, he purposely wanted to pull aggro off of the tank, to see how much it slowed enemies down. What an idiot. So after that, the tank drops, followed by myself, as of this writing I still haven't made it through the dungeon. Well, guess that covers everything this week. Hopefully by the next time I write I'll have made it through Scarlet Monastery. Or will be well passed the level requirement that it won't matter anymore, and I'll have more headaches in different dungeons. Anyway, good luck questing, raiding or whatever it is you do in this crazy world...of Warcraft!
