Hello again to you, my reader and fellow World of Warcraft fan! It's that time of the week again, for another addition of WoE. It really hasn't been that bad of a week, though. This week, as the title suggests, will be all about change. Changes to my characters, and changes coming to the game itself. So lets get started where we always do, with my characters.

First off is my undead priest, Morteas. He is now in Outland; he reached level 58 last Friday. I dropped every quest I had in Azeroth and made a B-line for Outland. As of this writing, he is level 61. For two levels I spec'd into Shadow. I don't really like the play style, but it looks like I might have to rely on it, as Holy doesn't seem to be putting out as much damage in Outland. I might try another level or so and see if it improves. I did get my flying mount, though. It is so very nice that you can get them at level 60 now.

Morteas is actually now my only horde character. My mage Tethias, warrior Kruunk, and rogue Drikzul have been deleted. I decided that I had far too many characters, so deleted them. Now I only have two characters. This is something I didn't mention last time; I made a human warrior, and leveled him to twenty. I decided that I really do want to see the game from the alliance side. That character has now also been deleted; yes I do this sort of thing a lot. My alliance character is now a human mage named Tethias...yes its the same name as my blood elf. He is currently level 15.

Maybe it's just that I don't know the area very well, but the horde leveling zones just seem so much better than the alliance ones. I think there is better flow in the horde zones. Then again, it could be because I've done the level 1-20 dance about 30 times for horde characters.  The Draenei leveling zone isn't too bad; its just like the blood elf starting zones; its designed to get you from 1-20 as fast as possible.

Speaking of changes, it looks like Azeroth is gonna be undergoing some rather large changes. As we all know, Blizzcon was last weekend, and the new expansion, Cataclysm, was officially announced. Of course the information was leaked about a week prior, but hey these things happen, right? Usually not for Blizzard, but oh well.

So Deathwing wakes up and tears the world a new one. Pretty much all the old leveling zones have been changed. According to Blizzard its now much more streamlined, and has a better flow. This is definitely a good thing. Although people who are new to the game won't get to experience the old content. Then again, 1-60 as it is now...isn't all that great. Basically it almost seems like this expansion could be considered World of Warcraft 2.

I can also see a lot of people making new characters just to experience the new zones and not just with the new races, Goblin and Worgen, either. Although I am pretty excited for those; I probably will end up making one of each. I'm thinking Goblin shaman and Worgen druid. I'm a bit more excited for Goblins, though, due to their racial abilities and mount. Their mount is a rocket car, and their racials are rocket belt, which propels you forward quickly, and also has an AoE attack, and they are also apparently able to summon a bank goblin anywhere. While slightly broken, its still oh so handy.

Well I guess thats all for this week. Like I said not really much to complain about; looks like there are some good things ahead. No release date has been set by Blizzard yet, and I don't expect one soon. Well anyway, thanks for reading, and good luck questing, raiding, or whatever it is you do in this crazy world...of Warcraft!
